Follies practices are underway and ticket sale information has gone home – check those backpacks!
All tickets are sold in advance – orders due by March 17th. Students performing do not need a ticket. Limit of 6 tickets per family (if your child is in the show), and 3 for all others. Ticket prices: $5/adult and $3/child(12 and under). Return ticket order form along with cash or check payment to “OTES PTA”. Tickets will be sent home with your child on March 22nd. FOLLIES BAKE SALE: Our big Follies show is just a week away and we need your help with the bake sale. This is our biggest bake sale of the year. If you can contribute, please click the sign up genius link and see what we need. We REALLY need people to help sell at intermission, so if you can do that please sign up! Any help is appreciated. Remember, this year each group participating is required to bring a baked good (or packaged item) for the bake sale. Group chaperones, please drop off your contribution before the show in the cafeteria….you will get your complimentary ticket for the show at the bake sale table.

We are in need of the following supplies to have a successful Makers Day at OTES. All grades will be participating. So take a look through your craft and other supplies and please send them in with your child before March 21st.
Legos – Lego 12” flat square for foundation, looks likes a Lego floor tile. Legos, mega blocks, connecting cubes, geometric shapes, wooden blocks, etc.
Mini-marshmallows, regular marshmallows,
Pipe cleaners (all sizes and colors are welcome)
Tongue Depressors – AKA jumbo popsicle sticks
550 feet of aluminum foil
500 foldable sandwich bags (not ziploc)
2000 popsicle sticks
100 small red solo cups Dixie cups
100 medium or large red solo cups
Plastic shopping bags
10 glasses or glass jars (all the same and at least 12 oz capacity)
Plastic dish washing basin
Various craft supplies (glue, markers, crayons, etc.)
Harlem Wizards are Coming to Ocean

Check out this cool video that the Harlem Wizards sent to us! The Harlem Wizards are coming to play against OTES teachers in April! It’s going to be a hilarious, SLAM-TASTIC event! We are currently collecting for grade level themed baskets.
The prize Bingo/Raffle Committee is seeking donations for grade level themed baskets. Here are the themes and links to sign up for items. All donations are due by March 24th.

The Yearbook Committee is Looking for Pictures
Have you taken pictures at OTES events and want to see your child in the yearbook? Send your pictures in for possible inclusion in the yearbook. Email them to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Events include class parties and class trips, Halloween parade, Geo Bee/Spelling Bee, Parent/Teacher basketball game, chorus concert, Science Fair, Follies. Please try to make sure they are pictures of more than one child so that we may include as many children as possible in the yearbook.
Better school communication leads to stronger school communities.
